Strike Day
Dear School
We have met with the Unite union again this morning in the hope to avert the action but at the time of writing, the strike day is still planned.
We have taken steps to prioritise SEN runs, by cancelling down non-SEN runs and commissioning additional Private Hire Capacity to try and limit the level of disruption. and We are busy contingency planning but there is an element of the unknown as to how many staff will strike so we need to make families aware that there could be disruption.
We are emailing this letter to all the parent and guardians contact details that we have on file, but we are concerned that we may not have up to date email addresses for everyone.
In addition, we have provided all our drivers and passenger assistants with copies of these letters for parents and carers and are asking that they hand them out on Wednesday and Thursday at the morning or afternoon drop off.
